3rd Annual SLP Leukemia Foundation "Fight For Life" Walk/Run

1 Mile, 5K and 10K Run or Walk

Come participate in the Annual Steven L Pearson Leukemia Foundation “Fight for Life” Walk/Run in memory of Steven L Pearson & all patients that have given their lives to leukemia. This event benefits the Steven L Pearson Leukemia Foundation (SLPLF). Enjoy this beautiful park in the heart of Gilbert, AZ as you support and help raise funds to help patients, fund research to find a cure and most of all to give HOPE!

LOCATION: Freestone Park. 1045 E Juniper Rd Gilbert AZ

COURSE: Equestrian Trail including hills, grassy areas, and paved surfaces. (Map coming soon.)

COURSE SAFETY: Participants with strollers and dogs are welcome but will only be allowed at the back of the pack. Please NO Bicycles allowed.

7:00 am: On-Site Registration & Packet Pick-up
7:45 am: Opening Ceremonies
8:00 am: 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
8:10 am: 10K Run/Walk
8:15 am: 5K Run/Walk
7-11:00 am: Pancake Breakfast FREE
8-1:00 pm: Family Fun Carnival FREE
8-1:00 pm: Entertainment/Booths/Guest Speakers

ENTRY FEES: Entry Fee MUST be POSTMARKED by March 15th, 2012. NO LATE ENTRIES will be accepted by mail. Online registration will be open until 3/22/2012, 11:59 PM.

Children 3 & Under: Free* (No T-shirt)

ONLINE REGISTRATION:

Online registration will end on 3/22/12 at 11:59 pm. ACH Checks and Credit Cards accepted online.
NOTE: Online registration is only open, at this time, for individual registrations. If you need to register a team, please use the download form to mail in your registration.

TEAM REGISTRATION: For groups of 15 or more per event, a $5 discount per runner can be taken. You MUST use the MAIL-IN registration to receive the team discount. Send ALL entries together with payment. No online TEAM Registrations please.

BENEFIT BREAKFAST: Pancake breakfast will be free from 7-11:00 am. Donations Accepted. All proceeds will go to SLPLF to help patients & their families.

AWARDS/AGE DIVISIONS:
1 Mile Fun Run: This event is NOT TIMED. All participants will receive a ribbon.
10K & 5K: Pair of Shoes & Medal for Overall Male and Female for each race.
Medals for the Top 3 Male & Female in the following Age Groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

TIMING: Professional timing done by All distance Running.
